Four complete Vegetarian protein options

Here are my top four favorite vegetarian protein options. Add these eight ingredients to your shopping list and let the creativity begin.  Substitute corn/wheat for gluten-free options! If soy is your thing add soy crumbles or textured soy meats.  Love cheese? No problem, just add for additional flavor.  Sneak in veggie puree or brewer’s yeast and your family will hardly think they are eating healthy.

1.  Red beans and rice

2. Corn tortillas and pinto beans

3. Couscous and lentils

4. Hummus and whole wheat pita
